Watch: A Christmas Memory 1997 123movies, Full Movie Online – A boy, Buddy, whose parents have split and whose mother is an actress in New York, has been dumped in the south at the small-town home of some older cousins, all of whom are unmarried. Buddy brings life to the house and develops a close friendship with one of the older, simpler ladies, Sook. Buddy and Sook undertake many adventures together, including the baking of 31 fruit-cakes which they give as Christmas presents, even mailing them to President and Mrs. Roosevelt and Jean Harlowe! Just before Christmas, one of the older cousins begins to wonder if it is best for Buddy to be living with them….
Plot: A new version of Truman Capote’s 1956 tale based on his own bittersweet upbringing in Alabama. The story deals with a seven-year-old who forms a special friendship with his simple, older cousin whose two sisters and bachelor brother feel he needs better influences and role models and decide to send him to military school after the Christmas holidays.

Excellent Movie!!!
I love any movie that has to do with “old timer” ways. Sometimes, looking at the way “Christmas” is taken completely out of context, the “old timer” ways are usually the best!Purity, simplicity! Homemade ornaments, popcorn strung on the tree. Old movies, anything depicting the 1800’s. There were some programs on PBS, Pioneer Village, and another one. Very excellent movies. Some people don’t like those movies that depict old ways, but I have learned so many things from just watching them. Things that actually work. Survival movies are also very enjoyable and very informative. After all you can never tell when you might be stranded!
