Lou (Jordin Sparks Thomas) is a young writer for the local town paper which is owned by her father. Her ambition is to become a famous writer by deciding whether or not she should move to new York. At Christmas time she meets a young unemployed handsome chef named Kyle (Michael Xavier) before she decides to leave for New York.

The rest of the film is watching and listening as Lou flip flops about moving to New York. The old proverb states “$hit or get off of the pot” This was painful to watch as a Christmas themed film made for TV.

A more appropriate title should have been “Hey Lou make up your mind already”

I give this poor excuse for a Christmas film a 3 out of 10 IMDb rating.

likeable and loveable
A winning combination — a female lead who can act and sing along with a male lead who is realistic and loveable. I hope there is a follow-up to this movie. Next time, please include the recipes.
