A fun family Christmas film
I just watched this film with my family and the kids and adults both absolutely loved it. It features so many great Australian actors and the story is unpredictable with so many hilarious twists and turns right until the end. Unlike most films these days the trailer doesn’t ruin the movie by showing all of the good jokes and plot points. Miranda Tapsell’s performance was a highlight, she is so funny and likeable. Chai Hansen’s performance was another highlight of the film. The child actors all did a very great job also. This is a Christmas film that we will be watching every Christmas from now on.

This knock of movie was absoulty the most terrible cinematic film i have ever seen, the fact that i had to stop half way through because it its such cliche, cringeworthy, and represents a bad australian image of films. The plot of the film was so basic, it wasnt entertaining whatsoever. I mean two men trapped in a christimas store held hostage by women wanting money? Most boring thing you could ever image. It is an unbelieveable story with clips that wouldnt happen in real ife. Like them saying ‘if we get 300k from you you will be set free’ That is such a bad depiction, that obviously means they will some how get caught either way. This film was not humorous at all, i can tell that they tend to try and use “Australian” humor in it which was extremly cringey. And the fact that its rated pg, but was very innapropriate including things like bad sexual language, a gun for the prop… what could go worse.
