Interesting Ideas, But It Is Lacking
There were things to like about this film, but the film itself had it’s issues.

The story was an interesting idea, but I don’t think it went to its full potential. I can honestly see why other reviewers want it remade, because it was a really interesting concept. But it just doesn’t quite deliver. The Sci-fi element to the story was cool, but they definitely could have switched up the horror factor.

I actually really liked the ending too, but it’s getting to that point before you switch off, because it does have pacing issues which leads to really dull patches of the film. The end scene is honestly so pretty that that’s where it looked like most of the budget went.

Remake This Please
I would appreciate this movie remade. With no science fiction elements. And much more horror and mystery.

The story itself is fascinating and could have been a very realistic film if it were not for the complete and total corniness of the science fiction elements. As well as some corny and overdramatic acting and character choices.

Still, the movie is decent. And the science fiction, at best, gives the movie an interesting dimension.
