For space nerds it’s worth watching.
If you like space related documentaries it’s worth a watch. If you already watched a lot of space related documentaries this one won’t be the best one but it’s still worth watching. It’s informative and educational, and even though I was expecting more stunning images it was still interesting. It’s well shot, there are some nice scenes but it’s more about the shuttle and the preparation than about the universe. Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard from the world famous series StarTrek) is the narrator, he’s easy to listen to so that’s also a bonus. I don’t regret watching it but then again I find everything interesting about this subject.
space lovers
Patrick Stewart narrates a documentary of America’s space exploration. The first twenty minutes is a journey to the present. The last twenty minutes is a look into the future concentrating on a mission to Mars. This is basically a commercial or a flashier version of the old industrial film. It shows the mission to Mars as something close. It’s interesting to see all the work being done right now but I doubt it’s that near. Also, the title should be Journey to Mars. Overall, this is interesting for NASA heads but it’s a skip for everybody else.
