More an audio book with images than a film
I love Tilda Swinton, I really do, she is an awesome actress, but this is arty farty drivel of the highest order. There is no sci-fi in this film, there are no people in this film, it is not even a film. It is basically an audio book filled with random images of landscapes, buildings and monuments. No doubt all the arty farty types (which lets be honest, most critics are) will rate it highly which is how it has such a high Metascore while claiming the rest of us just don’t get it. If you want to listen to Tilda telling a story for 70 minutes go for it, if you want a good sci-fi film, look elsewhere.
