Watch: Lilo & Stitch 2002 123movies, Full Movie Online – In a place far, far away, illegal genetic experiment #626 is detected: Ruthless scientist Dr. Jumba Jookiba has created a strong, intelligent, nearly indestructible and aggressive being with only one known weakness: The high density of his body makes it impossible for the experiment to swim in water. The scientist is sentenced to jail by the Grand Council of the Galactic Federation. The experiment is supposed to be transported to a prison asteroid, yet manages to escape Captain Gantu, who was supposed to deliver him there. With a stolen police cruiser (the red one), the destructive being races towards a little and already doomed planet: Earth. Stranded on Hawaii, experiment #626 can’t actually do much harm: water all around, no big cities and two well-equipped representatives of the Galactic Federation already following close behind to catch him again. But Dr. Jookiba and the Earth expert Pleakley never could have guessed that earth girl Lilo adopts the experiment as dog, gives him the name Stitch and actually causes an emotional development in the little beast. Her dysfunctional family, consisting only of Lilo and her sister Nani, is about to be ripped apart by social worker Cobra Bubbles. Stitch as the new family member brings quite some action into all their lifes, and after a while, not even Pleakley and Dr. Jookiba can recognize their former target. But how shall they bring the news of failure to the Grand Councilwoman without being punished?.
Plot: As Stitch, a runaway genetic experiment from a faraway planet, wreaks havoc on the Hawaiian Islands, he becomes the mischievous adopted alien “puppy” of an independent little girl named Lilo and learns about loyalty, friendship, and ʻohana, the Hawaiian tradition of family.

It’s rare that I wish a movie could keep going on and on, but Lilo & Stitch could have added a whole hour to its runtime and I would have welcomed it with open arms. This is a beautifully animated film, one of the best Disney has ever put out. Stitch has become something of a pop culture icon. Much like Jack Skellington and Bart Simpson, Stitch has struck an emotional chord with audiences. Aside from him being adorable, it also must have something to do with how Stitch, a being created to destroy, ends up being the missing link that brings a broken family together. There are times that Lilo & Stitch touches on dark subject matter. Lilo reminds me of many problem children that were misunderstood by parents, kids, and the system. But by the end, Lilo & Stitch will have you smiling by bringing you into a very happy place.

‘Lilo & Stitch’ is a short and straightforward production, but that doesn’t stop it leaving a charming and hearty impression. It’s actually rather impressive in that regard, you can’t help but feel attached to the main characters.

Daveigh Chase (Lilo), Tia Carrere (Nani), David Ogden Stiers (Jumba), Kevin McDonald (Pleakley) and, obviously, Chris Sanders (Stitch) are very good. I love their respective voices. Even some of the minor characters, like Zoe Caldwell (Councilwoman), Kevin Michael Richardson (Capt. Gantu) and Ving Rhames (Bubbles), are memorable too. A real cool set.

Animation-wise it isn’t actually sensational, undoubtedly pleasant, but not out of this world or anything. As for the music, who knew Elvis Presley’s discography would fit so well? An inspired choice, it must be said.

Not at the top of my list of Disney animated films, but it’s certainly in the ‘best of the rest’ bracket. You should definitely watch this, if you haven’t already.

A heart-warming story
There is a little Hawaiian girl named Lilo, she enjoys diving, surfing and folk dancing. And she desperately wants a friend, even not just a friend, she wants to have a soul mate. A flying saucer crashes near her house and a strange creature emerges. Actually it is a hostile alien whose the only aim is to destroy life on earth. Their paths cross. What happens when the little earth girl and the extra-terrestrial maniac meet? A funny, heart-warming story of friendship, love, family ties To be frank I was not going to see this animated film considering it to be “little kids stuff”. But when eventually I saw it I realized how wrong I was. Disney proves its reputation for making “family friendly” films because this is the film in which each family member, whether it be a child or a parent, can find something for him/herself to enjoy and think about. A couple of words about music. Since Lilo is a huge Elvis fan, the soundtrack contains a lot of his songs. It is a hard task to make songs written rather long ago fit in the modern film but the producers succeeded! Recommended to all!

I gave this movie another chance. I’m glad I did.
First time, I commented how “The Emperor’s New Groove” was my favorite Disney movie of the last ten years, and how “Lilo & Stitch” had left me wanting for more.

How wrong I was then.

I gave it another chance. I went back to watch it with a couple of friends and their sons and daughters. What best atmosphere to enjoy a Disney flick?

And then, the scene were Stitch is alone, with “The Ugly Duckling” book, shouting “I’m lost!” (or at least that’s what he was saying in spanish) made me change my mind. I suddenly became very identified with the main character’s quest for belonging, and suddenly realized he was actually everyone I know – searching for approval, trying to be loved, longing for love. The watercolor drawings, the facial expression, the music, the mood – perfection, indeed. There are a couple of animated scenes that convey this kind of mood – the Ballroom Sequence in “Beauty and the Beast”, Simba’s dad being killed in “The Lion King”, Jessie’s song in “Toy Story 2” – and this one is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Such simplicity and beauty is strange to find.

When we walked out of the movie, my friend’s kids were talking excitedly about the movie, when one of their mothers asked them what they enjoyed most about the movie. And one of the girls exclaimed “Ohana means family! And your family never forgets or abandons you!” (that’s what is said in the spanish version of the movie).

Then I suddenly realized we need more movies like this.

Solid 9 / 10 for Lilo & Stitch.
