Utter garbage. Most disturbing part is Mickey Rourke’s face, dude is addicted to surgery
I love horror anthologies. Mostly there are some hidden gems in there. V/H/S series was a great example to it. The same applies to the ABC’s of Death. This one has certainly a higher production value and seems to have a decent budget to pull that off.
I cannot name a single short film within that is better than the others. They all seem to be equally good. Not great, but certainly good. The “horror” value was mostly “gore”, rather than a horror that gives you chills. This makes the film much easier to consume.
Would I watch it again? Yes. Would I make my friends watch it? Yeah, it looks like a great get together and watch something film while having chats in between.
CGI should be banned
It’s not too shabby of a comedy horror flick but all the blood and guts rely on CGI and it really takes away from it. I have more fake blood than this movie does. And what bloood it does have it looks like watered down paint. Maybe I’m just too old school. But if there was no CGI it would have been 8/10 easy.
A satisfying low-budget movie that does many things right with unexpected twists and clean choreography. There’s a clear understanding of technique and an entertaining experience. The pace slows in segments, but I’ve seen movies with bigger budgets that tell more cliched stories.
