Could Have Been Better
Important story but poor acting and directing. Liked some of the period clothes and sets but there were also many errors that the editor & director missed…50 star flag, swing music. I almost recommended this to my daughters. Decided the cons outweighed the pros.

A departure from the book
Take the basic story from the book and add social justice themes unmentioned, for what reason I’m not sure. The story is powerful enough to stand on its own without adding to it.
