Watch: Subconscious 2015 123movies, Full Movie Online – It’s 2013 and Peter Williams, an alcoholic and driven Professor of History at New York University, is obsessed with an old war story about the USS LIONFISH, a US Navy submarine that was mysteriously and suddenly chained, welded shut, sealed and locked to the pier in 1943. Peter, after becoming an embarrassment to the History Department, is forced to resign his position at BOSTON UNIVERSITY due to his drinking and his single minded obsession with the submarine story. That evening, Peter receives a mysterious visit from a man from the Department of the Navy. After years and years of trying, Peter is allowed to visit the submarine. Assembling his team of researchers and graduate students, including is ex-wife, Peter plans to finally perform research on board, and his team head to the USS LIONFISH… the first people to be allowed on the boat for over 80 years since… the event. Once on board, they become trapped by the boat itself and things only get worse for the team as the boat comes to life, and heads out to sea diving them into a pitched battle in 1943 with a German U-boat and attacked by their own US NAVY destroyer… Peter and his team are thrust into the untenable position of continuing to fight the LIONFISH, in order to save themselves, or changing sides, and fighting with the USS LIONFISH. With the fate of Peter, his crew, the USS LIONFISH, and the outcome of World War II hanging in the balance, Peter must make a decision that he never saw coming and could potentially… change the world forever..

Overall not too bad
Don’t watch this expecting a factual WWII war movie because its not. While it may have a small budget and mostly unknown actors it does have an interesting story line, mixing past and present with an unexpected twist. It’s one of those movies you need to watch to the end and it all falls together. My only questions were how did the captain get back into the sub after it was sealed up during the war 80 years earlier? And how were the batteries still charged after 80 years? Its a relatively good Action/Thriller in the style of “The Final Countdown” or “The Philadelphia Experiment”. Like I’ve always said “I’ve never seen a bad Sci-Fi movie” well maybe with the exception of “Christmas on Mars”.

A SyFy wannabe?
Being a former submarine sailor, I was intrigued by the title and cover. So, on a whim, it entered my shopping cart. After watching this garbage last night, I wish I had left it on the shelf at the store.

They portray Lionfish as being locked up and sealed, yet there are features one would find on active museum ships that allow tourists below decks to keep them from doing touristy things.

This film reeks of SyFy imagined theatrics. Poorly lit, even considering that it was filmed inside Lionfish, it shows people who, with two possible exceptions, are completely unfamiliar with submarine operations.

Give this one a very wide berth. After watching this film, U-571 is actually believable!
