To fight for the rights he also goes against the law and comes in the eye of politics. After entering politics he starts his own party named after Shivaji Maharaj as Shiv Sena. After giving Marathi Manoos his equal rights his only wish is that one day the Chief Minister of Maharashtra should be a Marathi Manoos..

DOCUMENTARY INSTEAD OF….
It would have been much better if “Thackeray” was made as a documentary rather than a film.The movie was too dry and bland and involved key moments in his life which would have been served when presented in a documentary. Nawazudin had a very unchallenging role so we were not able to enjoy his normal brilliant acting. The supporting cast and direction were average at best.

Disappointing
The Political views of Bal Thackeray are not conveyed clearly. The film also appeared like a documentary with the first half in Black and White. None of the characters other than Nawazuddin are developed. Nawazuddin shines above all including the poor script and Direction
