Many people won’t like this movie. The other reviewer here explains why. This is a movie that will remind us not so memorable times, 2020, Covid, six feet distance, masks, fear of losing our family members. Many people indeed lose their family members, so, it would be difficult for them to watch it. If i had watched it during these times, this would have been a shocking experience. Paradoxically or not, for this reason, i would have rated it higher. The fear would have been more real because this movie works perfect as an allegory for what we afraid of covid disease could be.To be honest, i was this close to not watch it because of all that. I didn’t and i am glad i watched it. This is a good horror movie, which tries to be more original/different than other horror movies. Low budget production but well acted, well directed and kinda scary.
I can’t rate it higher because some things don’t make much sense. The border between dream and reality is blurry, viewer gets confused and not always in a fascinated way. Also, i wanted a different ending. It’s not bad, but personally, i didn’t like it.
Still, i recommend this movie. It’s bleak, sad, kinda scary, good acting. I think that people older than 30-35 years old, would like it more than younger audience.
