Watch: Venom 2005 123movies, Full Movie Online – SPOILER: Eric and his Yankee teenage mates travel South by motorbike to a swampy backwater town in Louisiana, where Sean’s father Ray lived, the local tow truck driver, who abandoned the then baby-boy and his mother. Ray recently died, while trying to rescue a voodoo witch and at her urging her trunk, which got opened and released the poisonous serpents possessed by the souls of truly evil sinners she trapped in them. Ray was bitten and possessed as the car sunk, and shortly after it’s dragged out rises as an ‘undead’ zombie, who murders without provocation and is immune to lethal weapons. He soon finds the teens’ trace and proves his indiscriminately evil blood-thirst by charging his only offspring equally lethally. However they were warned by Eden’s friend Cece, the witch’s granddaughter, who explained the situation in her home and assures them when the zombie attacks it’s safe thanks to a ‘blessed’ spell preventing evil from entering; alas the chain- and crowbar-waving undead finds a way round that: drag them out of it and make it fall apart. After the boys prove too brave and loyal for their own good, only Eden escapes alive, and the battle-site is moved to the tomb where the voodoo evil resides in a sarcophagus for their fight to the (un)death while she sort of learns enough voodoo by trial and error….
Plot: A group of teenagers fear for their lives in the swamps of Louisiana, chased by Mr. Jangles, a man possessed by 13 evil souls, and now relentless in his pursuit of new victims.

blood, guts and gore galore
I saw this movie at a screening as well and it must have been a different version than the reviewer who thought it was “pure $hite”. While the acting for the most part is typical teenager and a little disappointing except for the bad guy, the film looks fantastic, the actions sequences are great as well as the kills, some of which were hard to watch due to their realism. In this version at least, the cheesy special effects seem to be gone or at least vastly improved from what the other reviewer saw. It moves pretty well except for a few scenes of obligatory explanations regarding the voodoo deal and “teen angst”, but there are a couple of really good scares as well as a good sustained overall tension throughout. The kills are brutal for the most part with one exception thats kind of lame, but the fight sequence close to the end is especially effective and looks just great as well as what has to be some new scenes, possibly even a new ending, since the lighting and overall look is so different from the rest of the film, but it still looks great. In my humble opinion it’s definitely worth seeing and an R rating based on the blood and gore if thats what you expect from a horror movie. Gillespie definitely knows how to make an audience squirm.

Fun but slightly flawed
When an accident kills a local trucker, a group of friends in small Louisiana town learns that he became possessed by evil voodoo spirits and is out on a rampage of terror against them, forcing the slowly-dwindling group of survivors to find a way of stopping him before it’s too late.

This here was quite the impressive and enjoyable slasher. One of the better parts here is the film’s great voodoo atmosphere which is quite prominent throughout this a really lends it a far darker feel than expected. While accurately getting a small bayou community, it forms the perfect basis of superstitious locals that works nicely at letting the practiced elements come forth as the sacrificial ornaments and decorations, the small flickering candles and general approach to the actions throughout their rituals in the body pit that works so well together at giving this one a really strong atmosphere. The different symbols and their meanings, as well as the history about their significance, also helps the film complete the image of black magic and voodoo quite well that really helps this one as it turns into a wholly enjoyable and top-notch slasher from there. This one comes with some absolutely splendid action scenes starting off with the finely creepy stalking in the hospital morgue where he comes back to life and stalks the attendant before turning to the worker outside. The other scenes here are just as fun with the thrilling stalking scene in the garage workshop taking out the friend using the car equipment to trap and terrorize her, a rather fun chase through the woods as they try to escape his monster towing truck in their small jeep that includes one of the film’s best kills and a truly creepy stalking out in the bayou swamps where he continually dives under to sneak up on them which really uses the locations and scenery to absolutely great effect. Still, the centerpiece here shows the killers’ assault on the house which is full of action as the stalking early on to get them trapped inside while being kept outside due to the spells provided against him, the numerous attempts to get inside dragging them out to find themselves being stalking on the side before the full-on fun of him finally tearing the house apart and chasing them through the carnage which makes for a really fun highlight sequence. Along with a rather imposing look for the killer and some nice bloodshed in the graphic kills, there’s a lot to like overall here against the film’s lone flaw. The finale here feels incredibly rushed and doesn’t really match the rest of the killer as the temple encounter and stalking in the woods are so quick there’s little about them that stands out here compared to the fast-paced action elsewhere while not really employing enough true slasher antics along the way. This is really the film’s lone flaw along with the CGI.
