Misses the Mark
Rather a slog for the first hour and a half but it comes together somewhat in the final 15 minutes. Too little–too late, as I see it. Juliette Lewis, as usual, brings lots of life to the screen in her role. Overall, the plot and the characters here are too disjointed and not developed enough to have the dramatic impact it might have had.

To note: there were no subtitles available on my DVD copy.

Truly the “anthem” of any teen of the 90s
This film perfectly captures the early meta-years so many hold so dear. the performance from peyton was outstanding, and truly one which came from the heart and resonates with you there. I felt so deeply the lose, and even more so at his predictions. I loved this film and its ability to speak directly to a zeitgeist idea, and upholds those ideal all the same in its structure, I am very impressed.
