If you’re fascinated by mythology, foreign folklore & horror movies, you’ll like this movie. The Krasue is a folkloric creature popular in Southeast Asia. This movie gives us “foreign audiences” a chance to know her.

Slow burn and must watch

“Krasue” or “Inhuman Kiss” is a Thai language romantic horror drama film which was released in 2019. The movie has barely any horror elements. It takes references of Krasue and Krahang from Southeast folklore. The plot mainly revolves around a love triangle between a teenage girl and her two childhood friends. The girl is cursed and she turns into a Krasue at night. Krasue is a nocturnal female spirit whose internal organs hang down from her neck.

The story has a perfect blend of romance and folklore. Screenplay and character development are amazing. The film is beautifully shot as well. Some of you may find it slow. The twists are gonna blow your mind. You’ll definitely get emotional while watching the movie.

This film is already added on my list of favourite horror movies. Those who prefer good storyline over jumpscares and usual horror elements in horror movies, shouldn’t miss this movie at all.

According to me, “Inhuman Kiss” is a must watch.
