Watch: Melrose 2018 123movies, Full Movie Online – An unapologetically millennial view of Los Angeles, Melrose is a truly rare, and original, cinematic experience. It’s La La Land – on acid; 500 Days of Summer – off its meds; The Graduate – for the college dropout. Financed entirely with college tuition payments, and produced independently with zero compromise by a crew with a median age of 21, it’s “a crazy, color blast of a movie.” (Actors Awards LA) and an authentic debut by director Soren James. Featuring award-winning, unforgettable debut performances from Jinny Ryann and Drew Koles, alongside irreverent, scene-stealing debuts from Merlin Froyd and Marie Oldenbourg, it’s dark, hilarious, heartbreaking, and spontaneous; sometimes all at once. With a hugely evocative soundtrack, a smart script, eye-popping widescreen cinematography, frenetic, fast paced editing, and a clever use of long, unbroken takes – the result is a rollercoaster ride, an experience comparable only to actually being in your twenties, with all its ups and downs..
Plot: Fearing forced eviction, a struggling actor in his early twenties takes a sketchy door-to-door job on Melrose Avenue – where he meets a mysterious coworker and discovers firsthand the dark reality of living in transition.

Godard’s “Breathless” for the 2020’s
“Melrose” will be for the 2020’s what Godard’s “Breathless” (“À bout de souffle”) was for the 1960’s: seminal. The youth and its struggles in an youthful esthetic. Note that the highest rated movies almost never talk about the life of those who rate. Refusal of the mirror.
Speaks to some and may not speak to some. VERY UNIQUE
This movie is very different and unique from all the other movies that I’ve ever watched. The colour theme is very harsh, the highlight were mostly blown out, but in this case, I felt for the story, it was appropriate. At the beginning, the quote “One day at a time” really stuck all around the timeline of the movie. And it really did show how the characters evolved through out ” One day at a time “. The actors acted perfectly, the camera shots/angles were almost perfect ( I loved the character isolation with the quiet sound and wide shots when there was something tragic happening ). There were very few narration through the movie and it really did made me curious with the scene. ( I loved the part when the girl said ” I love you ” without the voice ).
The reason why this movie may not be for some people is that, the pacing of the movie was quite fast, the edits might be too fast, and some may have missed what was happening. BUT, for me I loved it regardless. I could relate how the main character felt sometimes, which might be the reason why I love this movie a lot.
The plot was quite not clear though, I did not catch what was the reason for the plot, maybe it was because of the lack of narration. BUT, I will watch it again next time to figure it out.
The endings was great. Very heart breaking which most teenagers might feel like in this generation including me. I think the ending could have used some work that compliments the #FeelGoodAboutYourself #FGAY other than that. GREAT movie, if you are into romance / slice of life movies.
