Another trash Hollywood movie….Is Covid responsible? Or something else? Why does Hollywood keep pushing this garbage down our throats?

Movies have gotten SO BAD in the past year or so, I have started watching older movies from the 80s 90s and 2000s…..They are usually MUCH better and the actors can actually act in those movies…unlike the movies Hollywood is churning out lately…

Dr. Harlow Reid (Edi Gathegi) has been found guilty of murder. He claims innocence while we get flashbacks to the incident. His wife (Angela Sarafyan) was having an affair because he is a control freak. While in prison he draws the ire of Officer Starks (Melora Hardin ) who uses mental and physical torture on him, placing him in solitary for an extended period of time. During this period, Harlow relives the incident and goes off the chain.

The film was intended to show us how cruel solitary is for prisoners. If they were all innocent and framed by a sadistic guard, sure. But the film never explains what punishment should be enacted to people who are already in prison for rule violation.
