The Kindness Of Others
This lackluster version of the Arthurian legend falls short of most others primarily because it lacks the emotional impact of others. Viewers are robbed of some of the most emotional scenes. For example, as Camelot comes crashing down, metaphorically, we don’t see Guinevere’s arrival at the abbey, or even her receiving the news that she has been banished by Arthur. We don’t see the destruction of the round table or Lancelot leaving the kingdom. And the camera doesn’t capture the demise of Merlin, which feels nearly inconsequential in the film.

The story parallels the Biblical narrative, with perfection, followed by the breaking of a covenant and the wages of sin. The final redemption feels like an addendum, and pales in comparison with the dark heaviness of the Arthurian fall from grace.

There are several film versions that are more enjoyable to watch, both for their spectacle and their emphasis on the characters and chivalric ideals.

Great Movie
I really enjoyed the movie and would recommend it to anyone i think that Drew Seeley did a great job. I thought as someone said some of the stuff was a little unbelievable like the professors being so nice and understanding, the landlady being so nice to lower the rent, and too watch his son while he is in class.Also the main character John was like this perfect guy like he was so understanding when she told him she was pregnant, he didn’t care when she said that she got pregnant so he would stay with her, and when she left John with Adam(there son) to move back to there hometown he was upset and tried to get her to stay but he was not angry with her. But it was a great movie
